999 - Guess Which Team is the Champion?

Dear All,

 

As discussed with the other clubs, the final decision of the no. of players are 6 male & 3 female for the whole competition.  So we need to elect our members to join this game.  All participators cannot be changed once we submit the name to the association.  I will let you know if I have further information.

Dear all

 

       I am glad to inform you that the tennis team competition will be held again from 23 July 2006 to 6 August 2006 (Three consecutive Sunday). Please reply on or before 23 June 2006(Friday) whether you are interested to join.

 

Please see below for details:

(1) Each team consists of 5 men players and 3 ladies players.

 

(2) I assume that we can form 2 teams.

 

(3) Two new teams are formed to join our competitions:

(a) Keith's Chai Wan team, members include

Men players : Keith, Kenneth, Paul, Walker and Cow

Ladies players : Candice, May and one lady

(b) Elsa's team (Exact player lists will be announced later)

 

(4) Three to four different venue will be booked for competition, which includes

(a) Chai Wan (Keith's team main court)

(b) To Kwa Wan (Elsa's team main court)

(c) Causeway Bay (DSSRC) (Kelvin's team 1st main court)

(d) Hang Fa Chuen (To be confirmed) (Kelvin's team 2nd main court)

 

(5) In each competition date, two different venue will be booked from 2pm to 6pm to held the competition, in which the first hour is for practice and last three hour for game competition. In each hour, two tennis courts will be booked.

For example:

 

Date : 23 July 2006

Venue 1 : Chai Wan

Competition : Team A VS Team B

Venue 2 : DSSRC

Competiton : Team C VS Team D

 

Date : 30 July 2006

Venue 1 : To Kwa Wan

Competition : Team B VS Team C

Venue 2 : Hang Fa Chuen

Competition : Team D VS Team A

 

Date : 6 August 2006

Venue 1 : Chai Wan

Competition : Team A VS Team C

Venue 2 : To Kwa Wan

Competition : Team B VS Team D

 

(6) In each competiton date, six tennis matches, each match is one set of 6 game and deuce with sudden death, will be played, which include

(a) 1 men single

(b) 1 ladies single

(c) 2 men double

(d) 1 mixed double

(e) 1 ladies double

 

(7) Each team players must play at least 1 match and can't play more than 2 matches in each competition date.

 

(8) Under the rule of (7), in each team 

(a) 3 men players will play totally 4 matches.

(b) 2 men players will play totally 3 matches.

(c) Each ladies players will play totally 4 matches.

 

(9) Fee of each player is HK$150. For those player that can play 3 matches only, HK$30 will be refunded after the competition.
